The keynote address by Maroš Šefčovič, Executive Vice-President for European Green Deal, Interinstitutional Relations and Foresight, European Commission, will set the tone for the day and a half of discussions, while Florika Fink-Hooijer, Director General of DG Environment will explain why water has been chosen as the main theme of the conference.
