Description
Forética, as the World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s Spanish Representative, has established itself over the past 25 years as the leading business organisation in terms of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Its mission involves integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects into the strategies and planning of more than 200 members, aiming to thrive together towards a sustainable future.
In society today, water is often perceived as a free and infinite resource, or at least treated as such. However, severe scarcity is now being faced with regard to one of the planet’s most precious resources. Therefore, this year, in the Circular Economy Action Group, an initiative focused on circular economy principles, a business case for water management and circularity is being developed. The main objective is to raise awareness within Spain’s business environment regarding water circularity.
The forum will host several seminars and conferences, showcasing case scenarios and best practices, alongside discussions on topics related to water circularity, aimed at fostering an informed debate. The event will include the presence of various public administration departments and keynote speakers from renowned international institutions.
The focus is at the corporate level, given the belief that the private sector is a driving force in society, possessing the necessary tools to influence trends for the greater good. Following the informative sessions, a networking space will be provided for businesses to interact, exchange knowledge, and establish links for future entrepreneurial collaborations.
