Description
This workshop for seniors will focus on conscious, sustainable, and healthy shopping practices. Participants will learn how to avoid unnecessary packaging, choose environmentally friendly products, and create their own shopping bags from recycled materials.
What’s in store for participants?
- Eco-friendly and healthy shopping list: a collaborative session on how to buy smarter, reduce waste, and avoid unnecessary plastic packaging. Topics will include what products are best for the environment and factors to consider when choosing food and cosmetics.
- Is plastic really everywhere?: an analysis of common products and their packaging. Participants will explore ways to reduce plastic use and understand the impact on both the environment and health.
- Upcycling workshop (sewing your own eco-bag): participants will learn how to turn old t-shirts, pillowcases, or fabrics into reusable shopping bags. This is a great way to repurpose textiles that often end up as waste.
Why join?
- Reduce plastic usage for a cleaner environment
- Make conscious consumer choices
- Learn practical solutions by creating a unique, reusable shopping bag
This workshop is part of the LIFE project 'Silesia. Blue Sky Restored.'
