Goutte à Goutte Meetings

For the EU GREEEN WEEK, the partners of the Interreg ALCOTRA Goutte à Goutte project are organising the Goutte à Goutte Meetings. An event is being organised on 27 June at the Chambre de Métiers et de l'Artisanat in Saint-Laurent-du Var (France).

The aims of these events, which are aimed at all those involved in the water sector, are to:

• Improve knowledge sharing between organisations in France and Italy
• Create links between the various organisations
• Identify practical solutions for reducing water consumption.

The Goutte à Goutte meetings are being organised on Thursday 27 June in three regions:  

• Alpes-Maritimes (France)
• Province of Cuneo Piedmont (Italy)
• Province of Imperia Liguria (Italy).

These three local events will take place simultaneously and will be linked by a vision conference. These meetings are an opportunity to highlight the various issues linked to water consumption in food businesses, and to share knowledge and feedback in order to subsequently implement concrete actions in businesses. But also to find out more about the Goutte à Goutte project and its actions. The aim of the Goutte à Goutte project is to test solutions for reducing water consumption in companies in the agri-food sector.

This Franco-Italian project has 2 main strands, an observation strand and an experimentation strand. The project partners are :  La Chambre de Métiers et de l’Artisanat Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur / La Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie Nice Côte d’Azur / L’Université Aix-Marseille / La Chambre de commerce, d’industrie et d’artisanat de Cuneo / La Chambre de commerce, d’industrie et d’artisanat de Ligurie / L’Ecole Polytechnique de Turin / La Fondation pour la recherche, l’innovation et le développement technologique de l’agriculture piémontaise (Agrion)
