Nature in Action

The "Nature in Action" ecological picnic is not only great fun but also an opportunity for learning and promoting environmentally friendly behaviors among children and adults. It encourages intergenerational meetings, as students invite parents, grandparents, and siblings to participate. 

The picnic is dedicated to the topics of air and water protection, water resource management, the significance of water for ecosystems and people, as well as issues related to droughts.

The elements that will be part of this event include, among others:

• Educational Workshops: Children and adults will learn about the water cycle in nature, the importance of water resource protection, and the consequences of climate change for water availability. It will also be an opportunity to learn practical methods of water conservation in everyday life.
• Interactive Games and Activities: For the youngest participants, there will be games to understand the importance of water for life on Earth and the challenges associated with its protection. Through play, children will better understand why it is essential to care for our water resources.
• Ecological Demonstrations: Practical methods of protecting natural waters, such as wastewater treatment or the construction of natural water treatment plants, will be presented during the picnic. It will be an opportunity to learn about innovative ecological solutions that help protect our water resources.
• Art Workshops: The opportunity to create their own ecological artworks from natural materials such as leaves, branches, or stones.
• Environmental Contests: We encourage participation in contests for the best photograph related to the theme of water and the best project aimed at protecting natural waters. It will be a great opportunity to demonstrate creativity and gain knowledge about water protection.
• Musical Performances: They will promote environmental messages in a fun and engaging way. Songs about environmental topics can be an excellent method to convey important information about environmental protection to children.
• Field Trips: Children will have the opportunity to explore local water ecosystems and learn more about their significance and ways to protect them.
