Description
This year's annual conference of EU GREEN WEEK will focus on finding solutions to the ongoing water-related challenges in the EU, in order to make the regions more water resilient for the present and future. Water is a precious resource that is essential for the well-being of people and the environment, as well as for building a fair, sustainable, and strong economy for generations to come.
The event is organised by IrRADIARE, and it is a forum for experts, researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders to come together and discuss the pressing issues surrounding soil and water resources in a changing environment.
The event aims to discuss how EU policy can help to improve soil management and support the effective implementation of soil biodiversity conservation measures. Such skills are key to strengthen the resilience of farmers against the impacts of climate change and other external pressures, and ultimately to ensure food security.
Through panel discussions and key note presentations, participants will learn and work collectively to identify knowledge gaps, management challenges, and research priorities in order to promote sustainable soil and water management practices.
This event also serves as an opportunity to celebrate the progress that has been made in EU environment policy and to inspire individuals, communities, and organizations to take stronger action in the future to protect, preserve, and restore our environment. By promoting sustainable development practices, the event aims to create a more resilient and thriving environment for present and future generations.
This event will be a meeting point for partners and stakeholders to debate ideas, share best practices and networking.
