Description
This side event will present the knowledge compiled and generated during the first 18 months of the CCRI Knowledge Hub. Specifically, the event will share lessons learned from the 40 good practices identified across EU-funded and national projects, selected for their relevance, impact, and replicability in urban and regional contexts.
Moreover, the session will showcase hands-on tools and cross-sectorial enabling technologies as promoters of circular economy practices in cities, regions, and industrial sectors. These enabling technologies have been compiled in a marketplace, which serves as a key element, alongside broader resources developed to support capacity building, mentoring, and policy development at the local and regional levels.
The event targets policymakers, municipal staff, practitioners, and stakeholders engaged in circular transitions. It aims to facilitate peer learning, inspire policy innovation, and connect cities and regions with proven strategies and replicable initiatives.
This workshop contributes to the EU Green Week 2025 theme by turning knowledge into action, helping cities and regions lead the circular transition across Europe.
