Description

CELIM’s partner event for EU Green Week 2025 is a specialised training day dedicated to renewable energy systems (RES), with a particular focus on photovoltaic (PV) solutions. Organised by CELIM with the support of an expert engineer in renewable energies, the event aims to enhance the technical knowledge of key stakeholders involved in environmental protection and sustainable development.
The training is designed to equip technical staff from the Regional Agency for Protected Areas (RAPA) and municipal officials with in-depth knowledge of RES, particularly photovoltaic technology. Through this initiative, participants will gain practical insights into eco-sustainable energy solutions that can be implemented in park facilities and municipal buildings. Additionally, the training will support municipalities in developing local strategies to promote the adoption of renewable energy within their territories.
The event will consist of a one-day training session for the staff of the Regional Administration of Protected Areas of Vlora and the Municipality of Vlora. This session will include theoretical lessons on photovoltaic systems, best practices for installation, and case studies showcasing successful implementations. To facilitate learning, participants will receive dedicated study materials.
A specialised engineer in RES will conduct the training, providing expert insights into photovoltaic technology and its applications in protected areas and municipal environments. By fostering knowledge transfer and encouraging the integration of renewable energy into local planning strategies, this initiative contributes to the broader objectives of EU Green Week, promoting sustainable solutions for a greener future.
