Description
In the Valencian Community there are currently two Biosphere Reserves, both designated in 2019. In both cases, the territory of the Reserve is articulated along a fluvial axis: the river Turia in the case of the Alto Turia, and the river Cabriel in the case of the Cabriel Valley. The University of Valencia has collaborated with both reserves, even before their designation as such, in research, management, training and dissemination tasks.
This collaboration has now been formalised with the signing of an agreement. In this conference, a review of past collaborations will be made, and future collaboration options will be discussed between researchers from the University of Valencia and the managers of the Biosphere Reserves.
