Description
How important is water in our daily lives? What will happen if water becomes more scarce? What is the strategic role of water?
This participatory workshop aims to facilitate an open dialogue on these questions and explore possible solutions to the issues surrounding water and its scarcity.
Firstly, an expert will approach the topic through the lens of its environmental impact, scarcity, and concerns over the availability of clean, drinkable water. Afterward, another expert will present the strategic role that water plays in the security of a country, as well as their concerns for the future.
Following the discussion between the speakers, using the World Café methodology, participants will be divided into groups that will discuss the aforementioned issues, their ideas, and possible solutions. Lastly, the groups will present their ideas and work to the panel of speakers and the other groups. The speakers will have the opportunity to comment on the suggestions and provide their final thoughts.
