The event will present the preliminary results of a survey conducted on the impact of youth work on green skills and future careers in zero-pollution sectors.
The event will provide an interactive exchange between organizers and as well as youth themselves and collect actionable ideas on how young people can better be supported to develop relevant skills and start their career paths.

2. Opening Remarks & Introduction to the Event
Timing: 10:15 - 10:25 (10 minutes)
- Welcome address by moderator or European Commission representative (name tbc)
3. Presentation of Preliminary Survey Results and Outline of Workshop
Timing: 10:25 - 10:45 (20 minutes)
- Presentation of preliminary findings from the survey on youth work, green skills, and zero pollution careers by organizers
- Introduction to workshop and overview of the workshop's main objectives and expected outcomes
4. Interactive Breakout Sessions
Timing: 10:45- 11:45 (60 minutes)
Participants break into small groups to discuss the challenges and opportunities for youth in shaping clean cities and zero pollution careers by focusing on specific topics:
1 st round
1. How youth work can build green skills for the circular economy
2. Pathways from volunteering to net-zero careers
2 nd round
1. How can EU, national and regional policies support youth involvement in clean cities?
- Each group will have a moderator to guide the discussion
- Participants will be encouraged to share personal experiences, ideas, and recommendations and will be encouraged to react to the preliminary findings shared by the organizers under section 3 (see above).
5. Group Presentations & Feedback
Timing: 11:45 – 12:45 (60 minutes)
- Each group presents a summary of their discussion, key insights, and recommendations to the wider audience
- Brief Q&A or open floor for comments
6. Closing Remarks & Next Steps
Timing: 12:45 - 13:00 (15 minutes)
- Summary of the event discussions and key outcomes
- Information on how the feedback will be integrated into the final report
