Dalila Sepúlveda is a member of the Board of the Guimarães 26 – European Green Capital Mission Unit and is Head of the Department of Environment and Sustainability at the Municipality of Guimarães. She is also Vice-President of the Landscape Laboratory, an institution dedicated to research and education in sustainable development. and Technical Coordinator of the Cities Mission for Climate Neutrality 2030.
She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Management and has advanced doctoral studies in Waste Management and Treatment. Recognized for her innovative approach to waste management, she received the Green Project Award for her proposal on pay-as-you-throw systems and has co-authored several scientific publications in environmental sustainability.
Her work focuses on environmental policy coordination, sustainability programmes, and community engagement in support of Guimarães’ goals for climate neutrality and sustainable urban development.
