Teresa Vicente is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Murcia since 1998. Doctor in Law. Prof. Vicente’s teaching and research profile as a professor of Philosophy of Law is “Theory of Justice and Human Rights”. 

In this area she has researched five lines: ecological justice and ecological rights, children's rights, legal feminism, social justice and social rights, and the new paradigms of international criminal justice.

Editor and promotor of the Popular Legislation Initiative of the Mar Menor aimed at recognising the legal personality of the Mar Menor, the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe. Organiser of the "Earth Assembly" held in April 2024 in New York and spokesperson for the government of Spain in the interactive Dialogue of Harmony with Nature held in April 2023 at the United Nations General Assembly.
