Co-founder of Trebol Lifeworks

Victoria Engelhorn is a serial entrepreneur, hospitality leader, and ecosystem builder whose work bridges regenerative agriculture, heritage hospitality, and long-term social development across two continents.

For more than two decades she has been quietly turning places, and the people who live and work within them, into engines for renewal. From Catalonia close to the Pyrenees to the inner city of Cape Town, her ventures share a single conviction: that the way we grow food, build cities, raise children, and run businesses can either deplete the world around us or help to restore it. With her partner Stef van Dongen, she co-founded Trebol Lifeworks which originated out of the Muga Valley Initiative, a watershed-scale regeneration of an entire Catalan landscape. She directs Brugarol a agrotourism farm in the Empordà and Brugarol Barcelona, owns Cape Heritage Hotel, directs the Heritage Square and co-founded HABITUS in Cape Town using building restoration to regenerate the city.

A Duke University graduate, Inyathelo laureate for Philanthropy in Youth Development, the chair of the Zip Zap circus  for 17 years, she has been a speaker on social entrepreneurship and impact travel at women’s forums in Paris and Bhutan and is the author of the cookbook From Me to You, which she’s written to preserve and pass down her family’s cooking and values to her children and future generations to come.
