Digital innovations for soil health: investing in nature through sustainable farming technologies

This online webinar will showcase innovative European research and innovation projects working at the intersection of soil health, sustainable agriculture and digital technologies, contributing to the EU Green Week 2026 theme ‘Investing in Nature’.

Healthy soils are fundamental to sustainable food systems, climate resilience, biodiversity protection and economic prosperity in rural areas. However, soil degradation, nutrient imbalances and environmental pressures continue to threaten agricultural productivity across Europe. Investing in soil health is therefore not only an environmental priority but also a key driver for a resilient and competitive European agri-food sector.

The webinar will present innovative solutions developed by EU-funded projects such as WHEATWATCHER, NitroScope and potentially bioSOILUTIONS, highlighting how research and digital technologies can support sustainable soil management and nature-positive farming systems.
