EcoLogic Expo

EcoLogic Expo 4 is an educational and networking event that brings together key stakeholders from business, academia and the public sector to explore the concept of a nature-positive economy in practice.

Unlike previous editions held as open-air exhibitions, this year’s event is organised as a roundtable seminar hosted at a higher education institution in Niš, with a stronger focus on dialogue, knowledge exchange and collaboration between professionals. The event gathers representatives of companies, professors, researchers, policymakers and students, creating a platform for interdisciplinary discussion on sustainable and economically viable solutions.

The main objective of the event is to promote the concept of a nature-positive economy as a driver of sustainable economic transition. Through expert discussions and case-based insights, participants explore how protecting natural resources can simultaneously contribute to business competitiveness, local economic development and community resilience.

The programme focuses on key topics such as sustainable and regenerative agriculture, nature-based solutions, green economy practices, urban greening and resource-efficient business models. Special attention is given to practical examples and real-life applications, enabling participants to better understand how these approaches can be implemented in local contexts.

The target audience includes small and medium-sized enterprises, entrepreneurs, investors, academic staff, students and representatives of civil society organisations. By bringing these groups together, the event aims to strengthen cooperation between sectors and encourage the development of joint initiatives.

EcoLogic Expo has been successfully organised since 2023 as part of EU Green Week, contributing to increased awareness and capacity-building in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development in Southern Serbia. The 2026 edition continues this mission by shifting the focus towards deeper expert engagement and long-term impact.

Through this event, participants gain knowledge, exchange experiences and build partnerships that support the transition to a more sustainable, resilient and nature-positive economy.
