Description
Recycling is not just a duty: it is also great fun. To celebrate Children's Day, the city event in Bieruń will invite children and their families on an educational journey into the world of the circular economy. The eco-manager’s booth will be transformed into a space full of eco-attractions, where participants can test their knowledge and explore how daily choices impact the environment.
The central feature of the event is the 'recycling lottery', an interactive game that blends learning about waste segregation, recycling, and the zero-waste concept with engaging challenges. Through quizzes, riddles, and puzzles, children will discover how to reduce waste, choose recyclable products, and understand the benefits of reusing materials.
Another key topic will be the impact of waste on air quality. Participants will learn how burning waste in home furnaces releases harmful substances that pollute the air and affect health. By raising awareness of proper waste management, the event will demonstrate how responsible actions contribute to a cleaner environment and improved quality of life.
To make the experience even more engaging, participants will have the chance to win eco-friendly prizes. Those who take part in 'Eco fun in the loop!' can receive gifts made from recycled materials or zero-waste lifestyle items, such as reusable shopping bags, water bottles, or plant seedlings. These prizes serve as a reminder that sustainability is not just an idea but a practical choice that can be part of everyday life.
This event is more than just entertainment. It is designed to inspire a more responsible approach to consumption and resource management. By combining education with interactive fun, 'Eco fun in the loop! Recycling lottery' encourages children and families to make eco-conscious choices and take part in building a sustainable future.
Organised as part of the LIFE project "Silesia. Blue Sky Restored," this initiative supports the development of an environmentally aware society, making sustainability education both enjoyable and impactful.
