Description
The "4 per 1000" 2024 Virtual Fair will allow stakeholders from the EU and around the world to share their latest ideas, projects and achievements in advancing soil health in agriculture and beyond. Soil health is one of the key factors in increasing water resilience. Healthy soils have a higher water holding capacity due to higher organic matter content, making them less vulnerable to floods and droughts.
The Virtual Fair is integrated into the “4 per 1000” Initiative’s confluence platform and can be accessed by everyone. It is directed towards a broad audience from all stakeholder groups who hold an interest in soil health. The two main objectives of the Fair are networking and knowledge sharing, both to disseminate information about soil health and to promote its advancement.
The Fair’s opening on June 17 will be marked by an online session on ZOOM, during which our newest members will take you on a journey around the world, presenting their virtual stands. Afterwards, the Fair will remain open for any visitors until June 21.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to have direct contact with the presenters at their respective stands during this period of time. They will be able to learn about innovative approaches to advancing soil health and thus water resilience in agricultural soils.
