Can we learn about clean air and energy through play? During the event ‘Blue mission at Górka Środulska’, the youngest residents of Sosnowiec will discover that environmental education can become a real adventure.
As part of the large city celebration for Children’s Day at Górka Środulska, a special educational zone dedicated to clean air and energy will be created. Visitors will find games, challenges and interactive activities designed to explain in an accessible way where energy comes from, how air pollution is created and what solutions can help reduce it.
Children and entire families will be able to take part in ecological games and quizzes that allow them to test their environmental knowledge and discover how everyday choices influence air quality. During the activities, participants will also learn the basics of renewable energy sources and why the development of clean energy is important for the future of cities.
The educational stand will also be a place for conversations, discoveries and inspiration. Through play and active participation, children will learn that caring for the environment can begin with simple actions – saving energy, choosing environmentally friendly solutions and helping to keep the air clean in their surroundings.
‘Blue mission at Górka Środulska’ shows that investing in nature also means investing in the knowledge and awareness of the youngest residents. Events like this help children understand that the future of the environment depends on the everyday decisions we make.
The event is implemented as part of the project ‘Silesia. Blue Sky Restored’.
