Description
- The video will begin with a state-of-play of the European rules on reuse. Our journalist, Virginie Hilssone-Lévy (a French influencer specializing in scientific matters), will explain what GreenWeek is, the objectives, and the stakes.
- Then, she will focus on an educational and scientific explanation of water reuse to explain its purpose. We will connect this topic to climate change, explaining how it works and how this treatment technique could be an answer to the repeated drought episodes and the level of water in groundwater tables that continues to decrease.
- Afterward, we would like to set up one or two short interviews during the Green Week event with wastewater reuse experts. We would like to hear from a scientific expert (think tank, researcher, member of civil society, Veolia employee) and a European representative (MEP, Commission member, EESC, Committee of the Regions, etc.).
- We will conclude with the main challenges ahead.
Can we recycle wastewater? What is it used for? - Agenda
