Catch your breath with the energy of nature

  • Training and workshops

During the ecological picnic, residents will have the opportunity to visit a special educational stand titled ‘Catch your breath with the energy of nature’, designed for children, young people and entire families. The zone will become a place for active learning and fun, where participants can discover how the energy we use every day affects the environment and the quality of the air we breathe.

The stand will feature educational games, tasks and short ecological challenges that explain in an accessible way the connections between energy production, air pollution and environmentally friendly solutions. Through engaging activities, participants will learn what clean energy is, what renewable energy sources are and why their development is important for the health of residents and the future of cities.

Interactive activities will allow younger participants to test their knowledge and explore how everyday decisions, such as saving energy or choosing more sustainable solutions, can help improve air quality. This format shows that protecting the environment does not have to be complicated and that many positive actions can start at home or at school.

The stand will also serve as a place for conversations and inspiration for residents who want to learn more about initiatives supporting clean air and the energy transition. The event highlights that investing in nature also means investing in the development of clean energy and in the knowledge and awareness of local communities.

‘Catch your breath with the energy of nature’ reminds participants that the future of the environment begins with small steps, knowledge, responsible choices and collective action for clean air.

The event is implemented as part of the project ‘Silesia. Blue Sky Restored.’

Host: Grzegorz Wierzbicki, eco-manager of the Sosnowiec Municipality.
