Description

As part of EU Green Week 2025, CEFLEX is hosting a high-level event titled "Circular Packaging and EU Targets – Will We Make It and How?" focusing on the urgent need to reform packaging waste systems across Europe. The programme includes an opening presentation on EU circular economy policy, followed by a panel discussion featuring representatives from local authorities and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes across Romania, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK.
The discussion will explore the implementation of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), key obstacles to progress, and the role of EU legislation in supporting a circular future for flexible packaging. The event will conclude with an open debate and Q&A, encouraging audience engagement and cross-sector dialogue.
