Description

This webinar will explore the systemic challenges cities face in transitioning to circular economies, with a focus on the needs and opportunities specific to place-based contexts. Two competing solutions, set for public testing in autumn, will be pitched during the event, followed by a panel discussion with key city stakeholders.
Our solution leverages AI, trained on global case studies, to provide cities with tailored, searchable information in their local context and language through a taxonomy-based platform. This allows cities to create and track their circular missions, guiding staff through the implementation of circular case studies with step-by-step instructions. Procurement officers will be able to validate tender documents for circular criteria, and local businesses can access the tools necessary for their own transition.
The circularPSP initiative, a competitive pre-commercial procurement project, is led by eight pioneering circular economy cities. Over 85 stakeholders, including national ministries and networks, are already benefiting from the data collection and look forward to testing the solution. The broad customer base helps lower prices for cities of all sizes, driving greater network and learning effects for a European AI solution.
