Clear as water

An event presenting a comprehensive guide to water, covering its vital role for ecosystems and human life. We will talk about its distribution, importance, and ways to conserve this precious resource. Featuring presentations by experts and tasting sessions of various drinking waters.

The book "Clear as Water: A Guide for Healthier and Sustainable Water Use" will be presented by the Vice-Rector for Sustainability, Cooperation, and Healthy Living of the University of Valencia, and the coordinators of the work (Dolors Corella, from the Faculty of Medicine, and Emilio Barba, from the Faculty of Biology), followed by a lecture titled "The human right to water and water justice " by Carles Sanchis, from the Faculty of Geography.

We will also host a round table discussion on "water and health," moderated by Dolors Corella, and involving some of the authors of chapters related to this topic, and another round table discussion on "water and the environment," moderated by Emilio Barba, and involving some of the authors of chapters related to this topic.

We will take advantage of the coffee break to conduct a "water tasting," in collaboration with the water supply company in Valencia, Global Omnium, where tap water will be presented along with some bottled waters, to promote tap water consumption.

The entire university community will be invited to the session, as well as local and regional political representatives and the general public.
