Description
The main topic of the event will be industrial-scale projects and processes related to waste recovery, resource extraction from waste streams, and valorisation of materials from a circular economy perspective.
The scope of these applications may include (but is not restricted to): closed-loop systems, technologies for recirculating water and extracting resources from wastewater, technologies for mechanical/chemical recycling of textiles and polymers, and the valorisation of waste or waste streams (including liquid fractions) for reuse or for energy production (e.g., biogas).
The primary goal of the webinar is to disseminate information about these novel systems and technologies, reaching both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as the general public. The event aims to create synergies among EU projects and third parties attending, and to promote and share good practices developed across the EU.
The expected format will be an online workshop, with each speaker presenting for around 10-15 minutes, divided into 2-3 main themes. Speakers from across the EU are expected to participate.
