CircularB is organising its 2nd workshop, titled 'Creating pathways for circular economy implementation in the built environment'.
This event provides a focused platform to evaluate ongoing research, share insights, and strengthen collaboration within the network. It will enhance multidisciplinary dialogue and thematic sub-group collaboration, directly contributing to the following upcoming CircularB deliverables:
- D4: Circular building design strategies and best practices (WG1)
- D5: E-learning section on best practices and circular solutions (WG1, WG4)
- D6: Business models and financial studies (WG2)
- D7: Circular management model and case studies (WG2)
- D8: Circular KPIs (WG3)
- D9: Sustainability integration in Level(s) framework (WG1, WG3)
- D10: KPIs’ automation via BIM (WG3)
Scope and objectives: this workshop aims to advance CircularB’s strategic objectives by focusing on the development of circular business models, circularity frameworks, KPIs, and digital integration. Emphasis will be placed on:
- Innovative circular business models to promote economic viability and adaptive reuse.
- Stakeholder engagement and policy influence to maximise impact and strategic alignment.
- Digital integration through BIM and digital twins to enhance circular economy implementation.
- Harmonisation and standardisation of methods to support international collaboration and consistency.
