Description
Public event consisting of a campaign to inform citizens about the biodiversity of the Black Sea and the impact of marine litter and plastic on the environment. To mark this event, a thematic labyrinth and a series of urban adventure games will be organized, dedicated to educational institutions and the general public.
This event is an opportunity to alert people about the negative effects that our actions have on the environment and to highlight the importance of the Black Sea biodiversity, but also to the measures that we need to take in the future to help restore and protect the environment, but also changing mentalities and behaviors.
For the Green Week 2024 event, International Environment Day and World Ocean Day will be celebrated together. Mare Nostrum NGO will organize an urban game, in the form of a thematic labyrinth, which will focus on marine litter and plastic litter in water pollution, with focus on Black Sea, and the protection of the marine environment.
Students from Constanta schools and citizens will be invited to play our games and to discover the labyrinth, to find out how they can be more responsible towards the environment and to keep aquatic environments clean, what impact our everyday actions have, what we can do to be more responsible, etc.
