The green blueprint: investing in a nature-positive economy for Europe

  • Conferences and summits

In June 2026, eight pioneering EU-funded projects converge to demonstrate that the path to European prosperity is paved with nature-positive innovation. This webinar transcends traditional silos, bringing together breakthroughs in agriculture, energy, construction and circular industry to protect the planet while driving economic competitiveness.

The projects represent a diversified ‘portfolio’ of investments in Europe’s future:

  • investing in land and food systems through AgRimate (www.agrimate-project.eu) and INNO4CFIs (www.inno4cfis.eu), deploying robotics, AI and carbon farming solutions to transform how soil is managed. From precision AR in fields to strengthening the circular bioeconomy, these approaches support harvests that feed future industries by providing high-performance fibres for construction, clothing and energy;
  • investing in clean energy and industry through TWAIN (www.twainproject.eu), Sea4volt (www.sea4volt.eu) and INFERNO (www.infernoproject.eu), advancing AI-driven wind insights, seawater electrolysis and industrial energy harvesting to support a fossil-free transition powered by renewable systems; and
  • investing in circularity and space through SNUG (www.snugproject.eu) and STREP (www.streproject.eu), rethinking how homes are built and how textile circularity is achieved through intelligent automation, ensuring that both built environments and material systems reduce environmental impact.

This event is not only a showcase of technology but a demonstration of a nature-friendly economy in action. By aligning these sectors, it illustrates for businesses, policymakers, academia and communities how strategic investment in green technology can strengthen Europe’s role as a global leader in a more resilient and sustainable economy.
