Description
Zinnae, the cluster for the efficient use of water, and its members work to offer solutions to water security challenges, contributing to building a resilient and sustainable future based on two main pillars: the circular economy and smart society. The purpose of this session is to showcase the latest innovative technologies developed by Zinnae’s members, with a focus on water circularity. The agenda addresses the full spectrum of water use: industrial, domestic, and agricultural, recognising the need for a cross-cutting approach to safeguard the quality and quantity of this vital resource.
The development and implementation of circular water solutions present both challenges and opportunities for water technology providers and large water consumers. These issues will be discussed in a roundtable, analysing the main barriers companies face in bringing their solutions to market, technical difficulties encountered, and the positive impacts these solutions could have, particularly for water-intensive sectors. Key areas of focus include water and energy savings, as well as by-product valorisation, which promotes economic security within the EU industry.
The event targets stakeholders developing or promoting circular water solutions, such as water treatment technology providers, online monitoring experts, software developers for water management, industrial process consultants, and others. It will also engage stakeholders from water-intensive sectors like agriculture and industry. Registration for the event is mandatory.
