Description

Can you navigate through the world of the circular economy? Do you know what happens to waste after you throw it in the bin? The family-friendly outdoor game ‘Less means BETTER! Less resources, less waste, less emissions!’ is a great opportunity to test your navigation skills and environmental knowledge! Participants will embark on an interactive route, searching for hidden challenge points and solving puzzles related to the circular economy. Every correct answer will bring them closer to discovering the final phrase and earning the title of eco-thinking champion!
Waste is not the end – discover the second life of materials
During the game, participants will learn that waste is not useless garbage but a valuable resource that can be reused. They will understand the importance of reducing resource consumption and how recycling helps protect the environment.
Save resources – minimise waste
The route will feature tasks focusing on waste reduction, renewable materials, and product reuse. Participants will discover why durable products are a better choice, how conscious consumption makes a difference, and why repairing is better than discarding.
The impact of waste on the environment and air quality
The game will illustrate how poor waste management, including burning waste at home, affects air quality and public health. Participants will learn that reducing greenhouse gas emissions starts with responsible resource management.
Education meets fun
This game combines active fun with practical environmental education. Teams will need to collaborate, analyse information, and apply their knowledge to complete all challenges and succeed in their eco-missions. Each family team will receive a map marking the locations of challenge stations. After completing all tasks and solving the puzzles, participants will uncover the final phrase, summarising their new knowledge.
A game with a lasting impact
It’s not just a one-time adventure. The knowledge gained will help participants apply circular economy principles in their daily lives. Because less means better - for the environment, for air quality, and for all of us!
The game was developed by Dominika Bukalak-Gaik, Subregional Coordinator. This event is organised as part of the LIFE project ‘Silesia. Blue Sky Restored.’
