Description
This event is part of Facciamo Circolare ('Let’s circulate'), a broader circular economy initiative managed by ISPRA in collaboration with, and financed by, the Italian Ministry for Enterprises and Made in Italy.
Organised by ISPRA, the webinar aims to foster collaboration among stakeholders and build a shared understanding of the circular economy. Facciamo Circolare is a participatory and inclusive initiative involving enterprises, associations, institutions, schools, and citizens. It encourages the exchange of communication projects and practical actions, with a particular focus on food waste and waste sorting.
Goals of the event
The event’s main aim is to relaunch Facciamo Circolare as both a platform and a communication campaign. It will gather diverse voices to share insights and help map the transition to a circular economy, focusing on:
- waste sorting
- food waste
- green jobs
Training and collaboration
The initiative also offers expert-led training on how to effectively communicate circular economy principles. It provides tools and support for a participatory approach, welcoming contributions from anyone, whether a business, organisation, school, institution, or individual. The emphasis is on turning shared ideas into meaningful action.
The logo reflects the project’s values in a symbolic way:
- the girl’s hair forms the letters “E” and “C” for economia circolare
- she represents the economy of the future
- her movement with the hula hoop creates a spiral, a planet-like circle
- the three coloured balls reference neuroscience, where juggling is linked
- to brain development and adaptability
Why attend 'Let’s circulate! Joint efforts to build the economy of the future'?
The event invites participants to:
- raise awareness about change and adaptation
- embrace reuse, repair, and recycling
- support sustainability as a response to Europe’s key challenges
