‘Mission: green investment’ – A family field game about decisions that change the environment and the world

  • Conferences and summits

Can everyday decisions change the future of our planet? During the family outdoor game ‘Mission: green investment’, participants will discover that even small choices can have a real impact on the environment. This unique adventure, inspired by the idea of EU Green Week 2026, presents the concept of investing in nature in an engaging and dynamic way.

The game will transport participants into a world of environmental challenges where each team must make decisions related to protecting the environment. Along the route, players will encounter tasks, riddles and scenarios connected with everyday situations – from managing natural resources and energy, to protecting green spaces, responsible consumption and reducing waste.

One of the most exciting elements of the game is the decision-based system that allows each team to experience a slightly different storyline. At every stage participants will be able to choose between several possible solutions. All options will be valid, but each will have a different impact on the environment. In this way, players will see how everyday choices can influence nature to varying degrees.

Through this format, participants will realise that investing in nature does not always require large projects or expensive infrastructure. It often begins with simple everyday decisions: how we manage waste, how we use energy, how we protect greenery and how responsibly we use natural resources. During the game, participants will discover which choices bring the greatest benefits to both the environment and local communities.

‘Mission: green investment’ combines movement, teamwork and environmental education. Families and groups will work together to solve puzzles, analyse possible scenarios and make decisions that shape the course of the game. It is not only great fun, but also an opportunity to reflect on how we can build a more sustainable future.

The game demonstrates in practice that investing in nature means making conscious decisions that influence the quality of life, the state of the environment and the future of the next generations.

The event is organised as part of the project ‘Silesia. Blue Sky Restored’.

Hosts: Joanna Słomiany-Grzyb, eco-manager of the Krzepice Municipality, Dominika Bukalak-Gaik.
