In the face of climate change, mountain regions stand at the forefront of major transitions. They must preserve their natural resources while sustaining the conditions for their economic development, ensuring they remain attractive, dynamic and inhabited.
As part of the European Mountain Pact launched by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, which calls for the specific characteristics and needs of mountain territories to be integrated into European policies and programmes, this event will provide a platform for regions and local stakeholders to share good practices on nature-positive economic solutions in mountains.
Through examples of concrete projects and tools, participants will highlight their ambitions, needs and hopes for accompanying the transition of mountain areas in the current and future programming period.
