Description

The CIRCULAR FOAM project focuses on achieving circularity for post-consumer high performance plastics, using rigid polyurethane foams commonly found in refrigerators and construction as a practical example. It brings together a wide range of partners including industry, technology providers, waste management companies, researchers, logistics experts, public authorities and citizens to develop and demonstrate circular supply chains.
This work is being piloted in three distinct regions—North Rhine Westphalia in Germany, Upper Silesia in Poland and the Greater Amsterdam region in the Netherlands—allowing the project to address a variety of practical and policy challenges. Through interactive workshops and structured scenario development, the project has created long term recycling pathways up to 2050, identifying risks, opportunities and collaboration models to guide sustainable transformation.
Join us for an interactive webinar on 18 June at 10.00 CET to hear how regional stakeholders have been involved, learn about recommendations for regional policies, and contribute to the broader effort to advance sustainable plastic recycling in Europe.
