Description

The event ‘A step into a sustainable future’ will take place for the first time in the city of Novi Sad on 21 June 2025, beginning at 10:00. This international event is dedicated to promoting economic entities from Serbia and the wider region that market products with a strong commitment to circular economy principles.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore key topics related to the circular economy and discover green solutions currently implemented within Serbia’s economic sector. A panel discussion, hosted at the premises of the ACZOR Association and held in collaboration with economic sector representatives, ecological entrepreneurship experts and relevant institutions, will address the significance of circular economy practices and the importance of sectoral networking for both the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Republic of Serbia.
Panel discussions will cover a wide range of themes including:
- standards in the circular economy
- energy generation from waste
- circular design
- clean technologies
- innovation
- material flows
- decarbonisation
- waste management and recycling
The event will also highlight the role of educational institutions in advancing a green economy, with the participation of professors and experts from the University of Novi Sad.
More than 30 business entities will present their products and services, engaging with over 3,000 expected visitors from Novi Sad and the wider region. The event is organised by the ACZOR Association, with the support of 40 volunteers involved in the planning and delivery of activities, including the central forum.
The primary target groups include participating exhibitors, business representatives, local citizens and the general public. The event will be covered by local media and promoted on social media platforms. In the lead-up to the event, guest appearances are planned on local media outlets such as RTV’s Morning Programme and the ‘Novi Sad Postcards’ programme, alongside announcements published on electronic media portals.
During the conference, a comprehensive video record will be produced, covering the event and all panel sessions. This content will be made permanently available via the association’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook and YouTube) and official website.
