Description

The event marks the closing of the Erasmus+ TEXTIL4ALL project, an initiative that has trained people at risk of social exclusion in Spain and Greece in textile recycling and circular economy, equipping them with new skills to access emerging jobs in this sector.
This conference will be presented at the Green Week at the beginning of June, adding the initiative to the framework of the TEXTILE RECYCLING EXPO fair to be held in Brussels on 4 and 5 June.
The event will address the circular economy as an opportunity for recycling in the textile sector. This day therefore joins the initiatives promoting the circular economy in the textile sector, bringing a perspective focused on training and social inclusion.
Throughout the day, we will present the main results of the project and open a space for debate with experts from Envolve, ECYS and Finnova, addressing key issues such as the new European directive on textiles, success stories in the industry and future opportunities to promote more sustainable models.
With this event, we seek to raise awareness of the importance of the circular economy in the textile sector and to continue promoting the transition towards a more sustainable and inclusive sector, where innovation and training play an essential role.
