This event will showcase cutting-edge technologies developed within the NYMPHE Project, aimed at restoring polluted environments and supporting Europe’s transition towards a more sustainable and circular economy.
The event will focus on innovative biotechnological solutions addressing soil and water contamination, with particular attention to wastewater treatment, soil remediation and microbiome modelling. The objective is to present how these technologies move from research to real-world application, highlighting their potential to tackle pollution, improve ecosystem health and contribute to circular resource management. The event will also foster dialogue on the role of innovation in achieving EU environmental and climate goals.
The event will take the form of an online webinar featuring short expert presentations introducing selected NYMPHE technologies, followed by an interactive Q&A session with participants.
The event is addressed to a broad audience, including policymakers, researchers, industry representatives, environmental professionals, NGOs and anyone interested in sustainable technologies and environmental restoration.
The event will feature experts and scientists from the NYMPHE consortium, including technology developers. Participants will gain insights into innovative approaches such as advanced wastewater treatment systems, nature-based soil remediation and data-driven microbiome modelling tools.
This event will provide a comprehensive overview of how biotechnology can support the revitalisation of contaminated environments and accelerate the transition towards a greener, more resilient future.
