Żywiec Days celebrate culture, tradition, and community fun, but they also provide an excellent opportunity to discuss our environmental future. This year, we invite you to 'Żywiec in circulation. A clean future' – an educational eco-space where residents and guests will learn how to implement circular economy principles, reduce air pollution, and safeguard their health and that of future generations.
Education, ecology, and fun
We have prepared an interactive area filled with activities and practical knowledge for everyone, from children to adults.
Eco quiz for kids:
Children will test their environmental knowledge by answering questions such as: What materials can be recycled? What is smog, and why should we avoid it? Which plants help purify the air? Each child participating in the quiz will receive eco-friendly gadgets from the LIFE 'Silesia. Blue Sky Restored' project.
Eco-consulting for adults:
Adult attendees will have the opportunity to receive expert advice on practical aspects of environmental protection. Topics include the application of the anti-smog resolution, necessary changes in home heating systems to improve air quality, and recommendations on eco-friendly technologies that can be implemented in households.
Circular economy in practice:
Everything we produce and consume affects the environment. During the event, participants will discover how to minimise resource consumption, reduce waste, and adopt zero waste principles in daily life. Discussions will focus on how conscious choices; such as repairing items instead of discarding them, choosing products with minimal packaging, and using local resources, can significantly reduce the negative impact on our surroundings.
Clean air for everyone:
Air pollution directly affects health, quality of life, and the well-being of future generations. The event will explore actionable steps to reduce emissions and improve regional air quality. We will also discuss modern heating solutions, renewable energy sources (RES), and funding opportunities available for eco-friendly investments.
