Anikó RAISZ

Anikó Raisz is currently Minister of State for Environment and Circular Economy at the Ministry of Energy in Hungary.  She is also an associate professor, Head of Department at the Institute for European and International Law at the University of Miskolc. 

Recently she was elected Vice President of the United Nations Environment Assembly. Previously she held several positions, she was Minister of State responsible for administrative affairs at the Ministry of Justice, worked as Head of the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law. Earlier she worked as senior advisor at the Ministry of Justice in the Cabinet of the Minister.  

Ms Raisz obtained a PhD degree (summa cum laude) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Miskolc, a comparative human rights diploma of the Institut International des Droits de l’Homme (Strasbourg) and DEA (Master, LLM) and DESE diplomas on European Law at the Centre Européen Universitaire of Nancy, France. She studied law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Miskolc.
